Volunteer for online study for mild depression

Postby moodmemo » Tue Nov 02, 2010 11:17 am

Hi,

My name is Amy and I am a PhD student at the University of Melbourne, Australia. I am seeking participants for my study (Mood Memos) researching whether email messages can help prevent depression in those who are at risk.

As a participant, you will receive Mood Memo emails with expert coping advice and information about depression directly to your email inbox every few days for 6 weeks. The aim is to improve depression symptoms and help prevent more severe depression.

The Mood Memos study is open for participants 18+ years until 30 November 2010. Participation is confidential and can be anonymous.

The study is ideal for those who have some symptoms of depression but aren’t being treated, and want to know more about depression and how to help themselves feel better. The study is funded by the NHMRC and the Sidney Myer Fund, and has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee at The University of Melbourne.

To sign up to the study, visit the website: http://www.moodmemos.com.

Please feel free to pass on the details of the study to anyone you think it could benefit.

Regards,

Amy Morgan
