Phobia survey - please help!

Postby SallyB » Thu Nov 19, 2009 12:54 am

Hi,

My name is Sally and I'm currently in my third year of a Psychology degree at The University of Sheffield. My dissertation is about phobias - specifically about emetophobia, needle phobia, dental phobia, blood phobia and injury phobia - and I would be really grateful for anybody with any of those phobias who would take part in my survey. The study has been granted ethical approval from the University of Sheffield ethics committee and I am being supervised by a chartered health psychologist.

Here is the link to take part, there is more detailed information on the opening page: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=f ... DPPA_3d_3d

There are pictures included in the survey but they are ordered from least scary to most scary and you control when and if you want to see the next picture. If you wish to opt out of the pictures at any moment then it literally takes a second to skip you away from the page you are on and take you to the final question section. Even if you do not look at many (or even any) photos, filling the rest of the survey in is incredibly helpful to me.

Thanks very much, if you have any more questions about it before you take part then feel free to ask!
