I know your pain!! lol

Unfortunately I have no clue how to get over it myself. If you find out, be sure to let me know. Sheesh, I can't stand s-p-i-d-e-r-s!!!

I have a similar reaction to them whenever I see them. I hate them. I would rather eat a snake than look at a spider!! Sorry for anyone who is terrified of snakes and just read that.

spiders suck

Postby AngelEyes669 » Tue Aug 16, 2005 3:51 pm

I used to love spiders when I was a kid. My fear started about 5 years ago.
I live in Canada. I was in a drum corp as a color guard. Our first stop on our month tour was Ontario. We stayed in a hockey arena. Everyone was getting bit by spideres in their sleep. Not me though. I thought nothing of it. about 2.5 3 weeks later we were in florida staying at a YMCA camp where there was spiders the size of a mans hand. Don't forget crocodiles.

Well, we came back from a show and I went into my bag (we used hockey bags to pack 1 month worth of stuff) to get something and I see a couple baby spiders scatter. I go to step on them and hundreds of baby spiders scatter.

It turns out a spider had layed eggs in my bag back in Ontario and hatched when we were in florida. After that I have the same reaction as the first post. I can't even see them on TV or pictures. I started dating this guy about 2 months ago, and my mom and I both told him my fear and that it was no joke.

He found out real quick that he has to kill them for me, and that he can't joke. He didn't really understand until I freaked out. LOL

I also know that it is irrational, but what can you do?
