this is horrible...

Hi,
I have a phobia which is with me for years. I get very scared when i see a cockroach, even if its small... Its interesting that i dont react like that at any other insect!

I want to know if there is any treatment, as I feel that I will die if this continues

Please I beg you to give any advice about this, anything that can decrease this fear.

BTW cockroaches dont bite

Geeze how often do you really see cockroaches. I think that if I ever saw one I would be afraid too. Are your living conditions not clean? If not, that might be your answer right there. You are probably more afraid of these bugs more than any other bug because the cockroaches are invading in on your living space. I wouldn't even be able to sleep at night if I had cockroaches in my house. If you get rid of the cockroaches I think you will get rid of the phobia. So many people are afraid of bugs and get through life by just avoiding them. I don't see why you would need therapy for this unless you want to make friends with these bugs. Call an exterminator.
