How this forum has helped me

Postby stilltrying » Thu Jul 12, 2007 8:17 am

This forum has helped me a lot in the last week or so of coming upon it. It has really helped me to start and break through the issues I have.
First, it's allowed me to post my deepest and most disturbing thoughts and perceptions that I can't share with anyone else. Only because of the anonyminity and the people willing to listen.
Second, it's allowed me to read the trials, tribulations and daily struggles that so many other people have that are just like mine or even worse, and I had thought I was the only one in the world struggling with such issues.
And it's allowed me to recognize my own issues that I have but may not consciously realize it; it brings everything to the surface. It is a healing tool and good start. I struggle daily but it does kind of help to know that I'm not the only one.

Excellent stilltrying! Keep coming back, share your experiences and your efforts towards building your self esteem. And come back to say hi once you get your self esteem at healthy levels, where you'll like it to be.
