I'm not sure if it's just me, but it always seems like the more i know about something, the worster my situation gets.

For example, before reading up information on anxiety and depression I used to be OK. but after I looked up some information on it and got to know so much about it ... my situation jus seemed to get worst. I would be worried about all the stuff i didn't even know about until i read it up online. Ofcourse im not in that situation rite now...but thats how it used to be for the past couple years. It kinda makes me wanna say...be Ignorant...n you'll be happy. I know it's weird but it sort of makes sense to me. Any one ever felt the same?

this makes perfect sense to me......the more u know the more u think....for example i hate the dr's office only for the simple fact that if i found out i was ill.... i feel that i would become depressed and worse.
I took an abnormal psych class once and i had anxiety for a yr because i kept thinking and thinking. Just know its all in your head and that is so powerful.

Another cheesy example is in grade school there was a lice check as soon as I learned about it and learned that someone had it.....I was positive I had it as well. My head started itching and sure enough I was fine

Stop analyzing for awhile and know that your brain is telling u you are having anxiety. Hope this helps...please reply

You are both completely right!!!!!! I didn't start cutting myself until someone told me about it.... Same goes for pretty much everything- I had "eating issues" for awhile (not an eating disorder- just very unhealthy body image, and I restricted and excessively excercised every once in awhile) when I found out in 6th grade that some ppl took extreme measures to stay thin...It's a good theory! If I was blissfully ignorant and wasn't so keen on learning about people and the world, I wouldn't feel so screwed up!
