do you like takin meds

I hate takin meds I know I don't need them and all they do is weaken me befor it will eventually kill me.
I'm forced to take them however or I will jus b put bk in hospital and that's the last place I need tio be or wanna be.

I was wondering wat everyoe elses thoughts are???

the problem im having with taking meds is i cant live a normal life on them. they make me want to sleep like 12 hours a day. when i wake up in the morning i always feel groggy.right now im unemployed and living with my parents, but i have to hear them talk to me about why im not working. just not possible for me to get and keep a job on the meds i am on.

They were created to make us conform and if we don't to kill us. Ur rite u can't live a normal life on em and its tragic

Wat I don't get is how they can force me to atke em if I were dying if cancer and diidnt want treatment there is nothing a doc can do get called schizo and jobs fcukd

I was jobless for 4 years after my onset of schizophrenia. If it wasn't for meds I would still be out of a job. Anyway... my meds really help. Now I'm free again, got everything I need, and I'm pretty happy.

So I guess it goes both ways for some reason.

I guess it comes down to the individual and wheather the benefits outweight the costs. For me I would prefer to have the extra 3 hp on my health bar as it was the biggest problem I had to deal with even before starting on medication. Maybe in my future it will give me immunity from vampires and have a mute button installed but at the moment I don't need those things so it feels like a waste of time. I also think it suxs when you are unable to make the decision but are FORCED to take the medication.

I can agree that its really hard to live either on or off medication.

I would be okay off medication, but my delusions/paranoia are out of control, they end up owning me. I really don't mind the voices, though.

Seroquel is giving me horrible headaches and I am tired all of the time. It's just a bittersweet situation for all of us.

I hate taking pills, I can't function, I've got a kid I've got to be there for and its such a cache 22, cuz without the meds I can't function cuz I'm to paranoid to leave the house with the meds I'm to sedated to function. One time my daughter came into my room in the middle of the night crying cuz her ear hurt so bad and I was so out of it all I could do was roll over and fall back asleep. I took her to the doctor that day but what if it had been more serious. I stopped taking that medication that day.
I remember what I was like 3 years ago and its night and day to what I'm like now. I loved going to work and now it terrifies me, I cry on my way in to work and with every step I take closer to the door I get more and more angry. Its awful, I'm just trying to find a job that I enjoy.
Unfortunately, the only medication that REALLY worked made me gain 16 pounds in a MONTH. It shut off that "you're full" detector. I would eat until I felt full and then literally 15min later I would be starving like I hadn't eaten all day.
