Of course it is a typical characteristic of a schizophrenic to think that he is normal and those things are 'actually' happening. My aunt is schizophrenic and is very reluctant to take tablets. She thinks she is absolutely normal and thinks no point in popping in tablets. Forcing make things worse. Whats the way out? please help.

Sumabeena, could the doctor give you some advice on how to handle your aunt? Maybe you could tell her that the pills are for something else, like depression or anxiety. Sorry this isn't much help.

Well I don't necessarily believe in pills, but I work with dementia patients and they often refuse to take their meds. Either you have to pretend the pill is for something else or crush it and put it in apple sauce or something. It would be more difficult with your aunt though because I'm sure she is aware of what's going on, unlike my patients.
