Sharing Experiences (TW maybe?)

Hi, while I don't have schizophrenia (though, I do have the risk factors, hence why I'm watched by my family) I wanted to write about it correctly. You see, I wanted to write a novel with a character having schizophrenia for Nano, however, I don't want to go by symptoms alone for it because I would like to be as accurate as I possibly can. I don't want to be stereotypical when writing it, or bring in misconceptions.

So, I ask, can you share your experience with it? (I really don't want to cause harm, I just wanted to understand the illness better outside the symptoms.)
