can voices be more thought-like

Postby odiledecaray » Tue Aug 18, 2015 3:52 pm

I "hear" thoughts or something in my head that aren't my own thinking voice. It's children chanting the same sentence over and over, but it's not a sound I hear with my ears. It's a sound from inside my head. Make sense?

Certainly. i have a voice inside of me named Tom, but that's because he lives inside of me and we share the same headspace. My psychiatrist still calls him an hallucination though because he is real to me. I think that's called something that is an indication of schizophrenia.
Diagnoses: schizophrenia, dissociation disorder NOS, Generalized anxiety disorder, selective mutism, psychogenic seizures and self injurious behavior.
Medications: Clozapine and Risperidone.
