Allergic reaction to Modecate?

I took Modecate a few weeks ago and after about 5 days ended up with swelling in my knee and ankle. Does this sound like an allergic reaction? My GP says yes, but my pdoc says no. I'm planning on taking it again as its the only thing that stopped the voices for a bit.
