It went so well I don't even-
I was originally thinking that this would go for about a half an hour - hour until we didn't have anymore to talk about and left. But this was a great experience for me. We talked for two hours, mostly about school at first but then we talked about things really close to us like why we're choosing the careers we've chosen, and things like faith (she's had the same experience as me as far as that goes), she loves kids like I do too. There's just so much I could talk about here, but from what I've learned so far about her, we're very similar, and I think she's a wonderful person. Even if nothing comes from this, I'm more than happy to have her as a friend.
I can't do anything all that soon, but we've talked about seeing a movie or something when I get back from a family vacation in January. I suppose I'll see if I can still keep in contact with her until then though, I don't want this to be a one time thing because, well, I really need friends at this point.
Thank you Kirsten, your advice was really really good, I don't think it would have gone as well if I didn't hear that.
I'm still a little surprised that this turned out like it did.
