I hate how my family yell at me about how it's time I did

nightmare, I don't think that has anything to do with the fact that they are gothic. instead, I think that it's just because they are more experienced at talking to people in general. This is what you must do: Become open to talking to everyone/anyone.

'Old' in what way? Nightmare, I'm still getting the feeling of utter 'lostness' (That's not actually a word, so don't use it in real-life situations) from you. You never say much about yourself either. Instead, you focus on your problems so much that we here have little to understand you from. I care for you nightmare, but please try to open yourself up to the world and 'branch-out'.

Goths aren't different then other people, it doesn't make them any different other then what they wear or listen too.

Never a truer word said... ...If everyone had this outlook, then we could live in much greater harmony. I try my best to hold this outlook true each day of my life. It can be difficult though, beause my natural 'human' brain sometimes tells me that I am better (or worse than others).

Black shirt plight? What does that refer to? If you take a snapshot of a street here in Ireland during Winter, you'll see that around 75% of people are wearing black. In fact, I remember being in Prague once and - looking down the main street - it seemed like absolutely everyone was wearing black there.

It has been 'proven' that people look best in black.

I hate wearing black. I feel even skinner than I already am when I have a black shirt on. I think I look better in pink, than black. It looks nice in contrast with my skin color.
