I just joined, but I really need some advice. I am in a very destructive relationship that I need to get out of. I read the Loser article, and most of it fits my situation. I feel that it would be easy enough to get away if we didn't have a child together. I don't want to cause any unpredictable behavior that may be inflicted on my son, who is only 2. It is also hard because I know that I will never be completely free of this person. Please help.

Hi, unstrung! Could you take your son with you when you leave? It would be good if you got some support from friends or family members. Is your partner abusive? You have to do everything you can to get away from them and prevent them from hurting your child. You could try to look for some crisis centers for people who are abused by their partner, in your area.
You have this place if you need to talk.

hi unstrung
Many people do this when they are in difficulties, they try to compare and match themselves with other's same situation. Now, see your child is god given gift , why are you thinking not wanting him. Love your child, your child is just like a plant. You need to support him. Don't betray him and give up negative thinking for him.
Thnks
