Constantly infatuated with Girls

I am 23 and have had only a few romantic encounters with girls; never a relationship. I am just not good at talking to girls; I get tongue tied and am not confident.

I always obsess and am infatuated with girls to the point where my friends get pissed off at me asking for advice and me talking about the girl. I always exaggerate their worth and make it seem like they are "the only girl for me". This is unhealthy as it takes up a lot of my time and makes me neglect life responsibilities.

Moreover, in the past I have scared girls away for acting weird (nothing major or too weird) but enough where they weren't interested in me.

I am in this situation now; what do I do?

Isnt it obvious? You probably try the nice, caring guy approach correct? Thats not what most woman want. They want someone who will treat them bad, to reaffirm their own low self esteem.

The rules about meeting girls is:

1.) Be attractive.
2.) Don't be unattractive.

Girls just want pompous dumbasses and Mr. Popular's.
