std ???

Postby scatterbrain » Tue Jan 15, 2008 9:55 pm

I'm not sure if this is the place to talk about it. But I'm too embarrassed to ask anyone else. I set up an appointment to see a gyncologist next week. I, unfortunately, have no money to make it out there this week....so I hope everything is answered next week and I pray that I'm OKAY.

My question is that...my clitoris had apparently grown in size...swolllen up...it looked unusal but it never hurt nor itched...I never had any irritations....but then last week, I was looking at it and it seemed like it had a pimple..very very tiny...almost unnoticeable....next thing you know, the following morning, i wake up, and realize that the pimple popped...and a lot of pus came out of it and my clitoris went back to the average, normal size....now i'm left here questioning what happened??? like i said there was never any irritation....so i'm just confused...it just seemed like a pimple...but do pimples in the private area make it swell up and does it pop puss??? i'm so confused as to what happened...and how i'm to react? i mean i've had a bf since late november...we've been having sex...i'm on birth control....and have had no problems...i'm embarrassed to bring this up to him...and am not sure if i should wait til next week when i go to the gynocologist or have sexual intercourse with him as per usual? i mean technically i think everything is okay? as far as the no more pimples...that was my first one and i never touched it, it just popped on its on...it didnt hurt, i felt no pain whatsoever....so i dont know what it was....does anyone have any ideas?

The body gets many small infections each day and these can sometimes develop into 'lumps' (or whatever you want to call them) like the one that you found. They are all mostly harmless, however. If you have noticed no more ill effects in your vagina, labia, or clitoris, then I would not worry too much about this.

I'm male, however. If there is a female here that wishes to reply, I'm sure she can better advise you.

Take care,
Kevin.

Hi, scatterbrain! You can get pimples there and nothing bad happens, but it's always a good idea to see your gynecologist. Don't worry, if there is nothing else going on, you will be just fine.
