how "fake" are u?

i think it has to do w being real as much as it has to do w being fake to urself. how do we know how fake we are? is it how we act alone w no one watching vs public?

I know in real life and here that I have different aspects to embody - and in real life, I have autopilot too.

I experience most people to be emotional hostage takers, so it's a rarity to meet people who I'd feel as "at ease" with as when I'm alone.

I do know being "fake" will get you much further than authenticity.

At the risk of pissing everyone else here off, I view someone who has the guts to stand their ground and stick up for what they believe in in the face of adversity and against popular opinion to be a highly admirable trait. I find it weak low character to fake anything just to gain approval from rando’s that probably trash you behind your back as soon as you leave anyway. I’ve always held the belief that people who have to fake it through life don’t really believe in themselves or their beliefs enough to stand behind them when it matters. Just my .002

I tend to agree, especially those who are disordered.

I'm fake all of the time; it's just a matter of degrees.

Someone actually told me to "get real" once. I was being fake in pretending and to be interested in the story she was saying and she saw through it.

I made her cry five minutes after because I was extremely "real" with her.
