Hi,
I've done all the grieving and healing from an abusive relationship with a man who had some sort of personality disorder. The closest symptoms which I found to match his are those of an antisocial personality disorder.
Although he was the one who dumped me after I left that town, he sent many emails to me for another chance. I blocked him and he created aliases. He was a real stalker. I could not get rid of him. I eventually deleted that email address.
I am returning for three weeks to this town. The place is small and I will see him around. What is the best/safest way to show my disinterest in case it flares up again. Ignore, be boring or tell him in a stern voice to leave me alone? I plan to take pepper spray with me and have my phone's video feature on when out if he is persistent.

Surround yourself with friends/family/acquaintances and don't give him any chance to approach you. No reaction is the best strategy imo. Telling him to leave you alone is still engaging in a conversation and will be perceived as an opportunity to manipulate/influence. Pepper spray is a good idea. So are male friends. Hope it goes well.
