Total confusion

Postby Hallusinating » Wed Feb 27, 2013 11:56 pm

I used to have a boyfriend who thought that he was the only one who had suffered something.
He got me ultra involved in his life, and then just chucked me out.

I had/have my own problems but he didn`t seem very interested in listening to them.

The whole relationship was weird.

We started out like friends, i tried to tell him that i had lost my family in conflicts but he wasn`t interested in listening. Yet he was very keen on me doing every thing i could do to please him and his conflicts.

Then he lied about something which didn`t exactly make our relationship any better.

I got mixed signals all the time, one day he said he only wanted to see me on a certain day in the week, and the next he asked me to marry him. All the time we were in love and did what people normally would do in that situation.

I had just gone thru a lot of conflicts before i met him and he happily used that against me when we had a fight.

Very frustrating when you want something so bad and at the same time someone else is ruining everything.

I didn`t feel as if he was making communication any easier. He said something about the conflict i had been thru right on the verge of our break up, even though we hadn`t talked about that for over a year!?

And what he said woke a lot of questions, questions i didn`t want to ask.

It was terrible. How can someone make you believe in them and then down right lie about everything and make me so confused????

Maybe i wasn`t ready to share everything with him, but i never told a lie to his face-if you know what i mean?

I asked him if he was an alcoholic because a good friend of mine told me that he was. He said flat out that he wasn`t. I said well its strange that my friend would lie about it? He said nothing.
