Has anyone ever been caught up on there? My case comes up next year and it's not prison which scares me the most, it's the potential of harm/abuse coming to my mum because of this kind of vigilante scum, who congratulate people who firebomb houses and such. I'm probably thinking of the worst case scenario but there does seem to be a lot of activity and cases on there.

These kinds of "anti-pedo" hatemongers really piss me off. I thought the U.S. was bad. I'm sorry to see you have such assholes over there in the UK too.

Many it hates on are not even paedos.

Keep your head down and ignore, it's what I plan to do. Unless they are banging on the front door with pitch folks why bring attention to yourself by lowering to their level?

Besides, I actually agree with their feelings over people who do actually abuse or rape anyone, I'm not sure the age of the victim actually matters.

They think that about people who merely have an attraction, let alone those who initiate contact. I never wanted to, either. Most of those on their page seem to be just people who've viewed stuff.

The problem with "name and shame" stuff like this is that it means living a normal life is very difficult and anyone can find out about you, this means people can cause trouble fro you, it means you are more likely to "made up stories" of abuse that didn't happen if people want you moved elsewhere.

It also means that because it out in the open that criminals often get to a point where "rehabilitation" is pointless as your condemned before you have done anything, so you can see why some offenders go on to re-offend with this type of crime, with the mindset that if you are forever accused of being a child molester then why not actually be guilty of the crime you are already being accused of and that does not help the offender or protect children from abuse.

Just my thought as I don't think these things help anyone and do not protect kids at all.
