Pedophilia and 'Leagues'

I'm not sure how your own attractions work or if this is even appropriate so sort in advance if this is offensive to anyone. I've been thinking recently about my own attractions to young boys and how I am only attracted to boys who would be out of my league even if they were gay and would engage in an illegal relationship. I'm 19 and I'm talking around 14 years of age so I hope this doesn't sound absurd.

I am attracted to women as well and I can be attracted to women more in my 'league' but I have only ever been attracted to boys I'd consider out of my league.

I was just wondering what any of this could mean and if any of you felt the same or differently about your own attractions. I haven't been very articulate so if this thread seems stupid or delusional because of the debates on consent then please feel free to develop it or just call me an idiot.

I'm also inclusive and I find that I like mainly conventionally pretty girl-children but I like unconventionally attractive adult women. I guess maybe, since from an evolutionary perspective it makes more sense to be attracted to older people but even if you like the younger type you would need extra attractiveness to let it compete with adults even if you liked adults and children in an apples and oranges type way.

Personally, I don't think in terms of leagues anymore. I think I used to when I was in high school, but I eventually figured out that my interests were so different from everyone else's that the girls I thought were the most hot weren't the ones my peers would rank as the most hot or vice versa.

I think that people's preferences are actually a lot more varried than we let on. So, the girls I'd consider perfect 10s aren't the ones who'd tend to think that about themselves. And I'd brush off advances from many people who would classify themselves as perfect 10s, since they aren't what I'm attracted to. They're just what society says I should be attracted to.

Were you referring to children or adults in your last paragraph? Because I am talking about being attracted to children in terms of 'leagues' and out-of-10's. Are you always attracted to very cute children who you would consider an 8, 9 or 10 , or do they not have to be super cute for you to be attracted to them. I've never been attracted to someone below 11 so I don't know how it works for someone attracted to younger children. Can you be attracted to a less cute child who you consider to have an amazing personality? Can an emotional attraction be stronger than a sexual attraction for you and allow you to for someone you would normally rank lower on looks?

It's just that if I hypothetically consider myself a 7, I've noticed I can feel very attracted to a woman I would give a 7 on looks who has an amazing personality but I have only ever been attracted to 8's 9's and 10's even though an 11-15 year old boy could be more mature, intelligent and funny than I and have an amazing personality. There's probably a simple explanation for why that I am missing though. Hopefully that makes sense.

I haven't ever really tried to put the children I'm attracted to on a number scale. I recognize when one child is more attractive than another. I do find that appearance and personality are both factors in terms of total draw, and as such I'm quite capable of being more drawn to a less pretty girl with a better personality, though there are floors for both aspects that operate largely independently. I've encountered very few prepubescent girls who are below that floor level of physical attractiveness such that I'm not interested in them at all sexually, though I've met plenty of adult women who are below the much more stringent floor I have for them on that measure (most porn stars aren't up to standard). I've likewise encountered a number of little girls who are quite beautiful indeed, who I don't find myself at all drawn to because they're below the floor level on personality, and are thus actively unpleasant to be around despite the eye candy.

I enjoy being around people who's appearance is below the floor level for me to be physically attracted to them, so long as their personality is above that level. It's just I put those people into the category of platonic friends.
