I don't think I understand what the issue contained which was so offensive?

He wrote factually and non-judgmentally about the issue of pederasty which as you know must be infinitely condemned. Also the subjects of masturbation, racism, and homosexuality were thrown in leading to a volatile mix. As you may or may not know, the French intellectuals of that period were attempting to have the age of consent laws stricken down which would have been extremely destabilizing to the capitalist patriarchy for reasons too convoluted to detail here, but which are explained at length in Guattari's books.

Well I have been reading the studies on the "scientists" who seek to back up the notion that every sexual act that is not between a man and woman, missionary position and in wedlock is an evil damaging perversion and I can tell you this - they are neither intellectuals or scientists.
