Alternate names for pedophiles

What clever, funny or cute names can we think of pedophiles?

I quite like "Friend of Alice" by analogy with "friend of Dorothy" for gay men after Alice Liddell.

This can be some covert way of acknowledging pedophilia in public or asking someone without them getting mad.

Or maybe you prefer "pedosexual". Though I'm not sure if I do agree that pedophilia should be considered a sexual orientation as opposed to a paraphilia.

What can you guys think of? Even self depreciative ones could be funny.

This is my 100th post, yay! 96 of them were in the last week.

Grats on the 100th post and personally I quite like the term "Friend of Alice" ^-^ I don't like the name pedophile or as my country spell it paedophile for many reasons so it would be nice to have a term to use in public or near eager ears (paranoia kicking in).

MAP sounds too politically correct. Girl lover/Boy lover sounds a little bit lame. I used to call pedophiles "Bears" (short for pedobear) but that was before I knew that the name was already taken by the LGBT community.
"Friend of Alice" is actually pretty cool.

Honestly I can't come up with any alternative names for a pedophile that I like better than the above examples.

Mine too. I'm English but I prefer the North American spelling/pronunciation. I guess I'm too the term too used pejoratively. Including by my Mother. At least she has no idea that I'm one.

Minor-attracted person. I think the term is nonsensical, as it lumps paedophiles in with anyone attracted to individuals under the age of majority (which is what the term 'minor' usually refers to). In the case of heterosexual males, at least, I don't imagine there are many that do not have significant attraction to females in mid to late adolescence, so a considerable majority would probably qualify as MAPs. Besides, the term conflates attraction with legal terminology ('minor'); I don't see a good reason for this. Personally, having studied Nabokov extensively, I would not want to be associated with Humbert Humbert. As Nabokov said, HH was a vain and cruel wretch who manages to appear touching. He abuses Dolores Haze, and presents his account in fancy prose that seduces the superficial reader. He relishes the artistry of his account of the events in a manner that calls to mind Paul de Man's discussion of the pleasures of confession. Nabokov condemns him as an inferior artist incapable of transcending his solipsism. We need a proper role model.

Yes Humbert Humbert was a horrible person but I still like ^this name. I might even use it sometime.

I raised this issue a while back, but the post got sidetracked, so I'm glad to see it brought up again. The term I prefer is Youth Oriented (YO).

The word pedophile carries such strong negative connotations that I think a good alternate term is needed. One of the hardest parts of coming to understand and accept my attractions was attempting to reconcile my positive self-image with the awfully negative term "pedophile."
