Ive talked to many male pedophiles, and the concept is the same. We are just attracted to them, and that's it. A pedophile is a pedophile.

OK, judging from this thread, it seems that there are female's attracted to little girls. And the media suggests there are females attracted to teen boys (maybe). But I don't trust or believe the media. The question now is: is there any female here attracted to little boys, or is that just an exclusively male thing?

i don't know if anyone here is, but i've definitely seen them before.

Indeed there is.

Anyone can be a paedophile, anyone can be a child molester. anyone can be a rapist, anyone can be a murderer. You cant say one type of person cannot be anyone one of those.

You know, I've been coming across a lot more of that lately, even on the paraphilia forum. Maybe it's just that more pedophiles of a particular type seek help. I shouldn't be so hasty in my conclusions. This particular thread is worded in such a way as to elicit a singular response.

Since most pedophiles will be consumers of child erotica (porn, legal forms of erotic stimulation, Youtube videos, etc.) and most visual arts erotica is made by men, for men, it stands to reason the reason the impression is most pedophiles are men is simply due to the fact that most illegal child pornography will be such that it's catering to men. But going back to Sappho in ancient Greece, women have been pedophilic all along.

As often as Sappho comes up in some circles, interestingly actual surviving poetry is hard to find. Nonetheless, I do have a site doing just that, will msg it since it's off-topic.
