I wrote you guys a poem. I hope you like it. Feel free to write your own poems, if you feel inclined. If not, that is okay too.
"Untitled"
Occupying the liminal
The necessary pariah on the periphery
You haunt the imaginations of the stupors
The cold thoughts of repressed minds
Repressed hearts
Stifled humanity drips off them
Like the residue of their birth
They climb back into the womb
They stare at you
The abyss
And they become what they most fear
Though they mistook who the monster was
In the first place
And now they internalize their hatred
Deadened husks stirring in that very vitriol
That very piety
That they had reserved for you
And now an opportunity emerges spontaneously from their debasement
The privilege of turning it vertical
Inhabiting the apex over the fools, the scoundrels and the banal
Masses of puerile filth’s last belch to the heavens
Their muted cries go unanswered from the vacant
And you hold that gun to your head with one bullet
It clicks and now you go to bed crying
But if you really had any sense
You would just occupy those heights
With a sagely grin
And pity those who cannot occupy it with you
