Super villains

I find it funny how many villains in movies and on TV are pedophiles. every crime show has an episode about a pedophile. lots of movies have pedo villains. like in V for vendetta, sin city, the green mile, kill bill, and hard candy. are people just fascinated with pedophiles or what? is that what people want to see?

I think that they are trying to explore the most unknown and scariest type of villains.

I actually wish sometimes I could be in one of those movies and be a pedo with the orientation and not the conduction and try to fight against those villains and try to get them to see the light lol.

Then the community would know both sides to pedophillia rather than just people that don't care, validate their pleasures, and deny what they are, and be depicted as monsters.

pedophiles probably get peoples attention because a lot of people hate them. people would like to see the evil pedo get beat up by the hero. maybe someone should make a comic book about a pedophile super hero. lol. I don't think it would sell much copies.

Actually, I know at least one example in which the pedophile is the good guy:

In an episode of Family Guy, Chris befriends an old German puppeteer, and starts spending time with him, instead of his pedophile Grandpa (though Chris doesn't know he's a pedo).

When his Grandpa notices that he spends more and more time with the old German, he warns Chris, that the puppeteer is actually a former Nazi living under a pseudonym and when he was fighting in WW2 as a young man, he was held prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp that was run by the puppeteer.

Later, Chris finds out about the German's Nazi past when he stumbles upon several Nazi artifacts, photographs and medals in a room in the puppeteer's house. Upon noticing this, the old Nazi locks Chris in his cellar and plans to kill him.

His pedo Grandpa comes to his rescue and defeats the old Nazi.

Also in another Family Guy episode, which is a parody of Star Wars with Family Guy main characters, Chris' pedo Grandpa plays Obi Wan, a positive character, though there are numerous jokes about his sexuality and his love for Chris during the episode.

I've never seen that episode. that's surprising that the pedophile would be anything besides the bad guy. I guess that Humbert humbert could be considered a good guy. well maybe not a good guy but not a villain.

Villains onscreen are usually one dimension stereotypes. It's not just paedophiles who get this treatment. Necrophiles are almost always portrayed as seriously unhinged and murderous individuals, the sole exception being Kissed (1996), which I thought was a fantastic film.

The female protagonist does actually have sex with a corpse though, so it's difficult to imagine a similar movie involving paedophilia. I also believe the movie would have received a lot more hostility with a male lead character.

There's definitely an interesting movie to be made about the life of an abstinent paedophile, or any paraphilia that's not acceptable in the eyes of society.

I have not really seen much of any thing about necrophiles on tv or anywhere else. But I would imagine they get treated the same way as pedophiles.

There is a movie called "The Woodsman" with Kevin Bacon, it is about a child molester and pedophile that is trying to overcome his temptations.

Long have I thought about writing a fiction book, with a main character that is very likeable, but will be revealed as a pedophile after the readers start to like him.

I watched an episode of The Mentalist. I love that show, but one episode made me so angry. The main character is usually not morally judging, but in this episode, where a student of 17 years had consetual sex with his teacher the main character announced their relationship publicly and named it "unatural". I was so disgusted by the lack of insight that the show usually has.
