Only some people out to get her

My wife has what appears to be PPD, but there is one thing I am not sure about. She does not think everybody is doing things to her, just my family and a few other people. The family thing has been going on for a few years. The outsiders usually quit being a part of her life after a while.

She does have friends that she trusts, but she has lots of ex-friends too. She shares some of her paranoid thoughts with some of her friends. The ones that believe her are her "good" friends". If they do not believe her they get "put on the list".

Do some ppds have paranoia w/ only some people and more or less normal relationships with others?
