Excessive, Obsessive Daydreaming?

Postby Happy to Help » Thu Mar 29, 2012 8:13 am

I’ve suffered with OCD for years and years, but I also have another problem, and I’d like to know if there are any other people out there who suffer with this. I daydream in an excessive, uncontrollable way. I’ve done this since I was 5 years old. I’ve actually spent whole days doing nothing but daydreaming. Is there anyone out there who has the same problem? I’m wondering how many other people with OCD also have this same problem. Here's a website about it:

Hey! I used to daydream a lot and have OCD traits (I think), it's gotten a bit better now. What do you daydream about?

Hon, I daydream about everything. I've had so many daydreams in my life! They would grow and evolve as I grew. Here are two clinical articles about Maladaptive Daydreaming:

They all sound just like me!
