That random thoughts is called an intrusive thought, no its not OCD what causes that.
Normal people have those too (the same ond as you) but they just ig ore it and after a few minuts they forget it was even ever there.
People with OCD have a malfunction in the brain what makes them unable to let it go and they start giving it a meaning while it doesnt have one, they worry and ruminate about it.
That's the obsession part of OCD.
Then people with OCD do compulsion such as checking if they realy are attracted to them (in this case your friend) , they do this to prove their not attracted and to silenge the worrying and the ruminating.
The problem is every human being has some kind of attraction towards another human being, people with OCD thinkthag this feeling, this attraction is sexual attraction while its not.
This is what hou could call "false attraction" , its a wrong name because their is an attraction just not a sexual one.
That you worry about this proves that ur not inlove with your friend, love feel great and good ald love isnt something you should worry about.
Hope you got the answers you needed.
