Anxiety and Christmas

Postby justlovisa » Sat Dec 22, 2007 5:26 pm

Hi guys,

Does anyone of you feel a little worse during Christmas. I really wish I didn´t but I do. I think it must have to do with pressure. Even though I know I have no pressure on me I feel like I do. I put pressure on myself on being happy for one thing. Also last year I felt soo bad the day before Christmas I am scared that will happen again.
I am tired of this disease...

Does anyone feel anything like me?

Take care and Merry Christmas!

Christmas is a difficult time for me too. I cannot just sit around idly like everyone else seems to. I have to get up and do things because I'm scared of becoming lazy like I was in my childhood. I'm the complete opposite of lazy now.

I just want the holiday period over with... ...but even then going back to university is going to be stressful because I put too much pressure on myself to get things done also. Life certainly is not easy. I cannot moderate my activities.

Do you spend Christmas with your family?

I have been busy today too - what did you do? I try to find something to do as much as possible because if there is nothing to do, that's when I get depressed.
