Hey guys!
It´s been a while since I was around. There has been a lot of things going on with school and everything.
So I started taking a new medecin a little over a month ago and I am feeling it should have started to kick in by now. I mean I know it takes time and all. It just makes me sad that it doesn´t seem to work. I guess I had to high expectations on it. My doctor said that a lot of people prefer this one to the one I used to take. That this one was stronger.
This is my third medecation. First I took anafralin and that was years ago and it worked good but the side-effects were to sivere. The one I have been on for the longest period of time is Zoloft but now I decided to try this one because I wasn´t entirelt happy but now I feel like maybe I am too greedy... Maybe it doesn´t get better. I dont know. But with this new medecin Cipralex (escitalopram) I feel worse.
So I was wondering what you guys have been taking and how it worked for you? I know this is all individual but anyway, I´d like to hear.
Thanks guys and take care of yourself!

Just...
I have been on Citalopram for about a month but haven't taken Cipralex. I am going back to doc Wednesday and will talk to him about changing meds because I am not seeing much help with the OCD.
I found this link and thought it was interesting

Maybe it will give you some insight, too.
Best,
N.

The ones I can remember are Effexor XR and Paxil. Paxil was the worst experience I've ever had and I haven't taken any more drugs for anxiety/depression/OCD since then because it scarred me for life.
