I overcame pocd several years ago. Although I am no longer going through it. The memories sometimes still bother me. Specifically the checking parts. I understand checking is part of the symptoms of pocd. Due to still having ocd and anxiety I am sometimes bothered by the past pocd memories. I am curious if anyone out there can relate and for anybody going through pocd I hope you overcome your issues and keep fighting your not alone and glad to help if anybody is struggling. I’ve been there. *mod edit* Feel it can benefit speaking to people who have gone through what I’ve gone through and especially helping each other out.

Hello and welcome!
It's always good to hear about success stories.
Whatever worked for you, try to apply that to the fact that things still bother you concerned with that time in your life. OCD never sleeps, after all. The memories of checking and having POCD need to bother you not at all, now. That's the past. Try not to let anything to do with POCD bother you any more.
