Hi i am 29 years old and since around two to three weeks i feel like i am losing my mind, like i am going crazy. I am not the same person i was just two weeks ago, i am losing control of my thoughts, and every time i sleep it gets worse. So i am trying to stay awake. I feel like there is a person or a thought that is not giving me permission to think the way i want to, this person or thought is undermining everything that i am, everything that i did and everything that happened. I cant clearly remember events that just happened one day ago. I know they happened but they seem hazy in my mind and not as clear as they used to be before and with each passing day they get hazier. This person or thought is gradually taking me somewhere bad and dangerous. I feel like i am gradually being peeled from myself, being peeled from my body and skin. Like i am not one with myself anymore.
I know it's caused by the emotionally and verbally abusive people around me.
Is this OCD? How can i go back to being myself?

Hello and welcome to the forums!
OCD is an anxiety disorder that's characterised by obsessive fears (and sometimes the resulting compulsions to try and reassure oneself, or compulsions a person believes will prevent the feared thing from happening. If you have a history of that kind of anxiety, then OCD could be causing you to feel this, perhaps- I mean we obsess; it's what we do best.
But just from your post it's really hard to say, for me. I mean as someone with OCD I have at times felt I was losing control of my thoughts; but it's just my anxiety running wild. What sort of thoughts are you having that are bothering you?
The way this post reads, several other things flash through my mind, besides or instead of OCD, so some more detail would be great- are you getting intrusive thoughts that are disturbing, and what's the nature of them?
