Scared out of my mind (does this still sound like OCD)

Postby WhyDoIExist » Thu Jun 13, 2019 12:12 am

So, lately I've been doing compulsions I've talked about before, and I can't stop worrying that I might be attracted to/want to touch the vaginas of little girls. It feels so real sometimes, and it makes me want to die...

I think you don't. Please try to not do compulsions. To me, this kind of thing is a feedback loop, and you must break the loop. My way of breaking the loop, is to purposely take the position, that I don't give a damn.

I would tell myself, in your situation, that I'll worry about it, when I realise I'm molesting a child- not before. That is what I tell myself about my harm thoughts to hurt/kill others. I'll worry about it, when I've done it. Not before. It's very hard to set aside your fear that you want to touch children in a sexual fashion, but you know this isn't you, it's intrusive thoughts. You know you're not going to- you haven't, right? Okay. You're not going to. Worry about it when it's been done, not before. It's hard to do at first, it takes practice to purposely not care/call the thoughts out for being bogus. But it is possible to do.
