Hi
I am a 21 year old gay guy with ocd and what I hope ia pocd. I was just wondering if I'm really the only one that "gets wet" when seeing/reading things that link to the obsession. For example when I read about pedophillia or things related to it I sometimes get a feeling down there (not sure if it's really groinal response) and when I check there is some fluid that comes from my penis (sorry for being explicit). I don't think it's really precum as I know that as something sticky when you're actually getting a bit aroused but more like just watery fluid. I once read tho it is in biology "for making it easier to penetrate a woman". So I'm wondering if I get aroused and denying it or it's just something linked to the ocd?
I have the feeling I'm alone in this.

The lack of an answer?
Sweetie. After a while, folks run out of things to say. Reassurance becomes this circular deal of folks saying the same thing to each other in this forum. There's nothing anyone can say that's going to definitely prove one way or the other, until you decide for yourself. You are going to have to decide that you're not a pedo, that this is mind games brought on by OCD trying to ruin your enjoyment of life.

I just feel like I can't relate entirely to others with pocd. And they can't to me either...

Over think anything enough, and anyone will feel the same way. How many times are posts containing some version of 'Everyone else here is _OCD except me........'? Enough that you're not alone in this idea that somehow OCD doesn't apply to you in this case.

Thank you for the kind words. I hope others with similar pocd will tell me they found out theyre not a pedo but this kind of ocd seems rare in comparison to hocd.

What???If anyone unfamiliar with OCD looks at this forum, how are they not going to think OCD consists mainly of being afraid of being Gay, or Transgender, or Pedophile? In that order but it's a pretty close grouping with trans and pedo always fighting for second place.
I'd say harm comes a distant fourth, then followed maybe by an even more distant schizophrenia for fifth.
Not that rare, mijo.

Hi! I have to agree with this. It was the biggest relief when I found out how common this specific fear was. I had it briefly for a bit of my late teen years and it went away with some of the others. I still struggle with one though that I feel "no one but me has". I feel the struggle. I think groin response can cause involuntary reactions like what you described. I'm sorry you're struggling, and for butting it here just wanted to offer some input. I hope it helps.
