OCD and projection?

Ok so I’m not sure if anyone else with OCD experiences this but currently I am having Trans OCD and i’ve noticed that I tend to project my obsession onto other people. What I mean by this is that I think that everyone around me is trans now. I also notice that my mind starts automatically using incorrect pronouns for people. For example, when I am thinking about someone talking about me for some reason my mind uses she pronouns to refer to me. When I think of a friend that happens to be female, my mind will automatically use male pronouns for them. Is this common in OCD? I’m so confused, this has got to be the worst obsession I have ever had and it’s stressing me out big time.
