Feeling I want to cheat?

I've been in my relationship nearly 8 months but tonight I became a little sexually arroused but my girlfriend was asleep so we couldn't do anything,anyway I got this feeling thet I used to get when I would get pictures off Girls (before we started dating) anyway I'm convinced it's my OCD because I don't have the slightest intrest to sext or get pictures of anyone other than my girlfriend, and the thought went away after I Masturbated, but it's left me feeling awful - guilty, upset, and scared.

I've never had this thought before and I don't like it and I'm scared it'll come back. Anyone else ever experience this and can help?

Everyone has temptations, from drugs to gambling. I know you are a good person. The fact that you are concerned is enough. It is normal to be attracted to other women. You being concerned means you are kind. If your girlfriend loves you she should understand what you thought. Some relationships even role play during sex. They are thinking of others technically. Don't worry your ok and you are a good person.

It's not like a temptation though, I wasn't in the least bit tempted to do it. I was just the feeling I would get, I feel it as just alot coming back from the past as I'm having a tough week regarding the past.

I can understand why you are feeling this way, but you didn't do anything wrong. It's not even as though you looked at porn or anything, but even if you did that would be OK and a normal thing to do. A lot of people might fantasise about someone else or look at porn when they are still in a loving secure relationship.

The thing is, that you didn't even do either of these things (and it is OK to be tempted, we are only human) and your OCD is making you feel as though you did. It's all OCD lies and it's even OK to be tempted and to notice other attractive people.

The fact that you say you weren't tempted suggests anxiety over this and OCD!

I say this to you, although I have had similar dilemmas in the past. Try to remember that you didn't do anything immoral or abnormal. This is just OCD.
