OCD Folk: Has anybody else had this? *MIGHT SPIKE?*

So, I origonally came to the forum with worrys regarding POCD. The worry of being/becoming a pedophile.

I feel I might have gravitated onto something else now. Perhaps others can relate.

I watched a video on youtube about strange and unexplainable deaths.

There was this one case of a girl died in a spooky hotel last year in L.A
There was a video on CCTV minuets before, of her in an elevator, acting very strangely, as if she was possessed.
She was moving around strangely, pressing all the buttons on the elevator, and then ran outside the doors and started doing strange, almost un-human like arm movements.
She then went out of the shot, and later she was dead, found in the hotels water container on the roof.


A very sad story. I don't like writing it down because it's disturbing and very sad, she was just a young girl of 21.
The hotel had a history of horrible happenings.
Infamous serial killers were resident there, who had now died.
I also worried that because I was disturbed by what they did and fearful of it, that they might come and haunt me as spirits.


I then started to worry about demonic or paranormal possession. I'm not really religious, although I believe in a God, but for some reason, this got me really worried.


I worried that because I was worried about it, that I would somehow, attract a demonic or paranormal possession to come to me.
That the fear and the fact I was disturbed by this and other similar stories, would some how make it happen to me?

I also thought another possibility was because I was thinking about it so much and worrying a heck of allot, that I might have a dream where an entity is in my mind, and it kills me then in real life.

I'm now afraid to go to sleep, afraid that something will either kill me in the night, or I will become possessed and kill my family or myself.



Can anybody relate to this?




I'm really panicking about going to sleep tonight, I don't really know what to do.
This is only a recent thing.
