driving, and thoughts of driving into poles, side rails, etc

I have Pure O, and every time I'm driving I always get thoughts of harming myself by crashing into a pole, tree, or the dividers on the road. It's horrible. I've swerved at times. This has been going on and off for almost a year now, and I hate it so much. I'll go through like 2 months of it not bothering me, and then it comes back..

It's just so opposite of me because it usually happens when I'm driving home from work, yet, when I drive on highways and all that I ask my boyfriend to drive bc I hate driving at such high speeds. It just doesn't make sense, I'm so sick of it.

Hey Just,

If you are actually swerving when you drive, that's dangerous and may point to other things. Could you see someone about this? You may make do something when you are driving which have unintended consequences, and that would be awful.

also swerving into things or away? the act suggests different functions, depending on the direction.
