POCD erections?!?!?

So I was testing the other day, (I know I shouldn't but it's really hard to resist the compulsive urges) and I got an erection?! I've also had an erection to these thoughts a few times before, which is really really worrying. I get erections to women more often though, but can anyone else relate to this?

Eya, i recommend you look at my post about intruisive arousals and erections.. the study i linked over there proves there were people with POCD who had arousals to that stuff but afterwards, their arousals were gone when POCD diminished..

Zamyou is right. I've been testing myself all week. I still do. The arousal is nowhere near as bad, infact it is almost non existant. I've studied, chatted and researched 15 hours a day for the last 8 days. Finally given it a rest now, but I still check this forum frequently, and I've added a lot of other POCD sufferers on facebook. I find it helps to find someone with exactly the same issue you have. I've found a girl who suffers with my issues down to a T, minus a few differentiations. The groinal response comes because you are looking for it. I know because I did that too. It seemed everything I wanted to be aroused over, it couldn't happen, but everything I didn't want, it happened. I have a few creases left to iron out in this POCD situation before it settles and something else comes along. There are some good links in this forum that myself and Zamyou have put up. Do your homework and read the tips and advice my friend. We are all here to help you through this.

This is one link, and there are more pages about this type of OCD. I found this site very useful. Another is on page 2 right at the top. POCD vs pedophilia it's called. A lot of links you've probably read already if you're a heavy researcher.

Thanks guys. I only get erections when I test to oral sex thoughts, but even then, they only happen like 1/5 times, as compared to like 5/5 times with women. It's just so unnerving. Thank you for the research resource! Glad to know there are others out there who've had the erection groinal responses too.

Well, I've not had erections from arousal, I'm a woman! Haha! But I do know how it feels to get these groinal responses. It's nice to have people here who can relate to each other. It's good to have members of this forum to chat to. Shame we don't have a chat room system for each specific OCD.

Oh I see, sorry, haha! It's a little concerning though, I mean I've been diagnosed with OCD and everything, but it's worrying because I know that erections with POCD are quite rare... but then it doesn't happen often, but when it does I feel terrible, and I know a pedophile wouldn't but still it's terrifying. But yeah, I agree! it's great to have people who can all support each other!
