I really want to thank everyone for writing me back. I posted this question well over a year ago. I checked back for a few days and didn't get any responses. I literally did not check again until a few minutes ago. I'm having a rough OCD evening and needed some sort of reassurance. My girlfriend and I spent the day together and as she was leaving we were playing with my cat and joking. She told my cat to be a good kitty, I hugged her and told her to be a good kitty too. She joklingly said be a good daddy, as thats how I refer to myself to my cat. Anyway it made me freak out a bit and ignited my fear of pregnancy ocd. I largely shook it off and as she left I went to my bedroom to get my computer. I looked at my clock instinctively, and saw 11:13. This made my whole mood crumble. I have a deep ocd related fear of getting my girlfriend pregnant even though we always use condoms. My fear mostly resides around the idea that she could get pregnant from spermazoa on my toilet seat or through residual pre -ejaculate on my jeans and her hand passing it to her jeans, crazy I know. I hope that wasn't too graphic, its just true. I love my girlfriend and its not a dislike of kids its just financially and my own mental health is not up to being a father yet, seeing the 11:13 gave me a huge feeling of doom and dread and a desire to do a ritual to make sure nothing bad happens. Instead i came here.

I have anothwer question for everyone if I may. Do you ever see a number, 13 for me, and have it be in synch with another ocd related fear. Like i will be worrying about my parents health, or the pregnancy fear and look up to see 13 on the clock or 13 in a liscense plate, It happens constantly and seems to much to be hyper awareness. I"ll even be in my car with music playing, have a thought like that and look down to see track 13 is playing or it hits the 13 second mark. These things really disturb me. I'd appreciate any and all thoughts. take care.
