Hello!
My names Alex, and I've recently been diagnosed with an NPD. After thinking I had an ASPD, so now I really know. I have PD, and what type it is. So hello!
Diagnosis: borderline personality disorder, mild Asperger's syndrome and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

it's so N that they have difrend types (i think) so what type did the hit you with?
and hello welcome ofc
i always feel that aspd and npd in many cases look the same but have a difrend couse the way they diagnose (mmpi mostly) they look at behavior in stead of way you think or root cause i think that's one of the main problems in psychology these days

I agree with xabilis.
Feel free to wander between both boards.

Meh - I just don't think every narcissist likes to be labelled the same. You get a lot of abuse victim sites where literally everybody is labelled the same - and it isn't cool. I agree with you to an extent (argue there's two/three subtypes), but its like other mental illnesses (e.g anorexia - the symptoms are the same, but two people will often have a different approach to how they eat food. One might like to eat three v. healthy meals a day, another might like to eat a chocolate bar a day). The same can be said with narcissism, SPD, HPD, BPD and ASPD.
Oh yeah, Hiiii.
