I’m looking to hear from some NPDs who have actually benefited from therapy and how they think it’s improved their life or how they interact with the outside world.
I had to fire my last T because of the number of times she canceled on me and getting into the office is such an inconvenience for me because of my work schedule. I have a DR appointment coming up and I can’t decide if I should ever bother asking for a new referral.
Actually I’d be interested in hearing anything therapy related that you care to share, good or bad funny.

Solowolfpack,
Eh, it's difficult for anybody to find a good therapist these days, but that shouldn't keep you from trying to find one that fits your schedule and clicks with you in terms of what you seek for therapy. If you're truly interested in understanding the disorder that you believe you have and finding ways to deal with it, keep searching until you find someone you can relate with. It will take some time and effort.
This is unfortunately the route many ppl have to take in their journey to understand a mental or physical condition.

I think youve missed the two who could've given you the most input, there were two users one whose nick started with d (shrug) who had very good experiences with longterm therapy. Who knows I might remember it at somepoint then I can write you a PM or something.
I myself I'm in a way too deep in my struggles atm and the borderlinish ok/$#%^ oscillations are making it hard to find objectivity. So I'm going to pass here with explaining my stuff. Still though,. your motivation should be your own anyways, if there is something you want to change or not. What kind of therapist was it tho? She (?) sounds like some behavioral one? Maybe she was having countertransference issues? ;p.
