Hello,
I really doubt i have NPD, or even a Narcissistic personality. but i've noticed i tend to underestimate other people quite often, which makes some people think i'm a narcissist, as in i think of myself as a superior person compared to them. but what makes me really doubt i have a Narcissistic Personality is the fact that i don't overestimate myself at all, in fact, i tend to think the worst of my own skills at most things, and end up surprising myself in return.
What do you guys think?

It's interesting that you do this often enough so that other people actually notice it about you. Can you give an example or two so we get a better idea of how underestimating others "shows up" in your life?
I don't usually underestimate others. I can't say it's never happened, it has. But I'm generally a pretty good read on what others can do.

Negativistic PD/ Passive aggressive PD would have covered this sort of behaviour and looks a bit like covert NPD. The diagnosis no longer exists partially because treating it like a PD was not helpful.
"Passive-Aggresive behaviour" is something you can get therapy for, which is supposedly effective. It tends to be something that shows up in people who had to repress their rage and frustration as children

It isn't a sign of narcissism necessarily, unless you think they are inferior to you as a human individual. Underestimating someone is different from thinking of them as unintelligent idiots.
