Difficulty expressing love

Why do I find it so hard to express love, especially romantic love. I've Spent my life running away from relationships and if someone does show their love for me or give me attention I get anxious and ignore them.

or... you don't have to have a PD to have difficulty with love. Not everything is mental illness.

For you, 'love' triggers fears. Explore those fears and you'll likely make some progress towards answering your own question.
