Stalin was a paranoid narcissist. Napoleon was an overtly obsessive-compulsive narcissist. His brother, Joseph, was a covert version of the same. I've never heard of Hitlin, though. Who was he?

Hitler was also a paranoid narcissistic personality. The malignant "blaming" version of the paranoid personality. He also had psychosexual problems. I'd suggest that Nazi Germany was a "good" example of narcissistic leaders using psychopaths to live out their dark obsessive fantasies.

Hitler doesn't do the cause any favours, does he? I watched the film version of "Schindler's List" recently. I'll have to make a point of reading the book. It's generally accepted that Schindler was an NP. He's idolised in Israel!

Siddharta Gautama, for having the nerve to thing that something he thought up was inherently better than anything else anyone else had come up with. This category also includes Newton, Einstein, Kant and Bram Cohen.

Alexander the Great, for adopting Persian customs with his Macedonian friends, and for deifying (<- is spelt right, means making himself a god) himself.

Perhaps the conversion rate between American and Swedish brains is rather heavily weighted in favour of the Swedes. And I say this as an (Anglo-)American.

actually paranoid personality is associated wwith the most extreme form of Narcissism from what i have read. and psychopathic personality is right behind that. (of course the paranoid has psychopathic behaviors as well)
