i posted to your similar thread in bpd, but i was going to ask if you've read this:

it's pretty thorough and is quite eye opening and should be taken to heart. nothing will change, you cannot sway him, nothing you will do will make him fall in love...that capacity has been removed. his thought of love? sure, but it will be fleeting and about his needs and not your own. don't make excuses, i did and i regret every painful second of it.
