Why would her motivations matter? Supply is supply right?

And to answer your question: No, animals are an annoying, pointless liability.

lol. They come up to me when Im sitting at my computer and claw at my leg and try to jump up on my lap cause they want to sit on me. Or they jump up on my computer desk if I refuse their offer and sit there staring right into my face. I dont understand what they want. I feed them and pet them and kiss them through out the day and still they want more....its just stressful. But i totally agree with you in that narcs take things way seriously and give simple gestures way more significance and power than whats actually happening. My cats wanting attention feels like they are clawing the skin off my face most times like I cant get away from them, yet they are just simply touching my leg and wanting to sit on my lap for a couple seconds. I know this , but for some reason I still cant deal.

Ahh, you poor thing, you're cursed. You must be good for cuddling, or sitting on or something.

If supply is what you're after, theoretically you would suppose.

But then that's typically narcissistic, to want the animal for supply and then expect something more from the animal and be upset if you can't have it, (i.e. you have the right to that, it doesn't, and that right is one way.)

I dont understand how some narcs get supply from animals. Must be nice. I can only get supply from humans, mainly BF's only. However I think animals can subtract from my supply, but not add to it. I am slowly beginning to figure out that if an animal of mine favors someone over me I instantly want that animal gone and out of the picture, but I also dont want it to bother me with attention either. Its not that I desire love from the animal. Its because I dont want that animal taking attention off of me. I hate admitting such pathetic things......but thats why Im in this forum afterall

Exactly, animals are total distractions when people come over.

Last (and only) pet I had I gave it to a friend.

Dogs all the way for me. Could there be a better pet? they love you unconditionally, are always happy to see you, willing to do whatever you want, and don't get upset.

Cats on the other hand, I HATE! They are selfish, conceited, indifferent, and generally very annoying. It's funny actually cuz when you want nothing to do with them, they won't leave you alone. Very annoying animals. DOGS RULE, PERIOD!!!

This is my little supply. Well this is when she was little and awkward as hell. She stalked me to every room attacking my toes, I loved her dedication, hated my toes being scratched. Decided to keep her.

Anyone else wanna display your pets?

Loving this thread!

Supply is sooooo much better when it has a cute face!! :D :D So cute. Will sort out a pic of my cat. Can you guys please be careful if you post photos of your pets to protect your privacy, and make sure the links on the pics don't lead to Facebook accounts etc. Just saying.

I was bring sarcastic with the supply comment..

I don't know if narcs in general can derive 'supply' from animals...

would certainly be cheaper and more convenient than the usual...possibly with less trouble involved
