My MBP mother seemed to have really cared for me...

Postby ask92 » Wed Aug 08, 2018 10:31 am

I have memories of my mother drugging me and calling the police, telling the officer that I'm out of control and using drugs. I was 6 or 7 at the time. The officer believed her.

My father was a narcissist who had sexually assaulted me as a child once and physically harmed me more than a few times.

My mother drugged me multiple times through out my child hood and one day, my father caught her. My father didn't like it. He started to protect me.

Why is this the case?

A narcissistic father who assaults his son and after finding out that he was being drugged, he starts to protect him from being drugged? (But, infantilizes me and sees me as his extension still.)

My second question...

Through out the ages of 6 to 10 under the care of my mother, I had serious digestive issues and multiple mini-heart attacks. Also had bone fractures.

After I turned 10, I was to leave to S. Korea where my father lives. Me and my mother and my brother had a talk about it, and I was crying on my mother's lap because I didn't want to leave her.

There were tears in her eyes too as I looked at her face.

And when I came back to her residence at the age of 14, she seemed to have wanted to genuinely care for me. Except for the fact that she did nothing for my infected eczema...

She told me that steroid creams were bad for you and that I'll grow addicted to it.

She was a chiropractor.

She gave me herbal drinks for it, but it never worked.

I had to live with horrible eczema through out my entire adolescent hood.

Blood and pus would drip from my body if I scratched a scab patch. I had it all over my body.

I got arrested at the age of 17 and the people there treated my eczema with eucerin cream and hydrocortisone.

When I got out she started to buy me was hydrocortisone.

I'm having a hard time knowing if she had MBP because we had an intimate mother-son relationship.

I'm wondering and asking you survivors out there, do MBP mothers actually care for you at times?

Because mine seemed to have.

I'm guessing that she wanted to turn her life around after I had gone to S. Korea.

Does this happen?

Yes at times they do care although all cases are different.

Without going into great depth, they just care more about attention than the child. In some cases they really do care, in other cases they do not, and in some it comes and goes.

I am guessing that you skin issue may have been made much worse by your mothers treatment.

You can easily trigger eczema and that will bring about many other issues...(It was one of my big triggers for respiratory issues)
