I'm Liza and I've registered here, first, because I'm very interested in psychological topics in general, and second (and mainly) because I'm quite desperate in case of my best friend and don't know what to do with her and hoped to find some help here.

I did read the rules, and I already got some questions, I hope it's okay I post it in here. I'm not entirely sure - "no graphic description of self-harm (and violence, and so on)", does it mean to be VERY detailled or is a sentence like "he cuts his X with a Y" or "she beat X with a Y" already too much?
I was a bit confused about that one.

And, further, if I want to ask for help or suggestions how to help someone with multiple issues, where do I have to post that?
I mean there are so many sub-forums but isn't there something like a more "general" one?

You can post in 3 different forums about the same thing (and with the same post), if there's more than one issue. The Living with mental illness forum is a more "general" one.
You can post stuff like "he cuts his X with a Y" or "she beat X with a Y", it's fine.
